The event is benefiting CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts - Multimedia and Performing. A free public high school located in Van Nuys, serving at-risk kids who would have no opportunity to pay for training in the arts or the kind of education that the school gives them.

CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts – Multimedia and Performing presents every woman’s dream event! "Bags To Benefit" an exclusive star-studded charity party, taking place at Tru Hollywood on Tuesday, November 19th 2013.

The highlight of the evening is a live auction of new and gently used designer handbags from such closet classics as Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and more. Buy a Handbag, Change a life. EVERY PURCHASE HELPS KEEP THE ARTS IN EDUCATION! 100% of the proceeds will be directly applied to life-changing arts, media and science programs for at-risk high school students

Red carpet arrivals: 7:00PM – 8:00PM
Live Auction: 8:15PM
Silent Auction ends at 9:30PM

EVENT DEMOGRAPHIC:

We're expecting 500-600 guests. Our targeted marketing demographic is mainly women, between the ages of 21-45 years old who enjoy luxury lifestyle and fashion. 

We believe that this demographic (and the event that literally brings the world of fashion and philanthropy together) is a great fit for Modern Luxury/Angeleno Magazine.
